Senior Accountant- GST

Experience : Minimum 3 years onward

Industry : Corporate Advisory Firm

Location : Salt Lake Sec 5, Kolkata

Key Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of Accounts , TDS, GST (Return, Filing), and Taxation (Income Tax).

- Proficiency in Advance Excel and accounting software.

- Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances, including timely filing of returns and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation and finalization of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports to support management decision-making.
• Perform regular reconciliation of accounts, ledgers, bank statements, and statutory records.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of books of accounts.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial workflows and data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and statutory guidelines.
• Lead, guide, and supervise the accounting team to ensure efficient task execution and adherence to timelines.
• Manage client interactions, addressing accounting, compliance, and reporting-related queries professionally.
• Handle GST departmental matters, including assessments, notices, replies, and departmental coordination.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
