As a Senior Accountant at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete accounting and financial management of the campus. Your role will involve ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with institutional and statutory requirements. You will also supervise the accounts team, monitor daily transactions, prepare financial reports, and support management in decision-making and audits. Key Responsibilities: - Review and finalize accounts up to trial balance and assist in financial statement preparation. - Oversee fee collections, reconciliations, and ensure proper accounting of all income and expenses. - Ensure monthly and yearly bank reconciliation statements are prepared accurately. - Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review (campus-wise income & expenditure). - Coordinate and support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with audit observations. - Maintain records for GST, TDS, and other statutory filings. - Implement cost control measures and monitor budget utilization. - Guide junior accountants and ensure timely completion of accounting tasks. - Liaise with Head Office / Management for consolidated reporting and fund transfers. Qualification & Experience: - B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) from a recognized university. - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in accounting (preferably in educational institutions or multi-branch organizations). - Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software. - Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances. - Experience in preparing and finalizing financial statements and audit coordination.
