Job Description

ob Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Dharamtala, Kolkata
Salary: ₹35,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.
Manage and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).
Ensure compliance with GST matters, taxation, and other legislative requirements.
Maintain accurate records of invoices, vouchers, and reconciliations.
Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and financial compliance.
Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and taxation laws.
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in accounting & taxation.
Strong knowledge of GST laws, compliances, and legislative matters.
Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹34,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
