Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR):
Manage vendor payments, process invoices, track client receipts, pursue collections, and review sales/pro-forma invoices.
Banking & Reconciliations:
Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations across all accounts and promptly escalate any mismatches.
Core Bookkeeping & Records:
Post all daily transactions in
Tally
and maintain complete, organized physical and digital files for sales and purchases.
Costing, Margins & MIS Support:
Update and review
Margin Sheets
, maintain the
Master Cost Sheet
, and prepare commission sheets for collaborators.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance:
Handle
GST
(including E-Way Bills, GSTR-2B reconciliation),
TDS
compliance and filing,
Professional Tax (PT)
, and preparing export shipment documents.
Payroll & HR Documentation Support:
Prepare salary working and
payroll
, including confidential files and bonus reports, and assist HR with employee agreements (Offer, NDA, etc.).
Vendor & Internal Coordination:
Serve as a key point of contact for vendors on payments and compliance, and collaborate internally (Design/Logistics/CRM) for cost allocations and billing.
Systems, Backups & Subscription Hygiene:
Maintain a Password Register, manage financial software/portal subscriptions, and perform monthly
Tally backups
and daily/weekly entry reviews.
Governance, Meetings & Trackers:
Participate in daily/weekly check-ins, maintain a tracker for all financial deliverables, and manage transport reimbursements, petty cash, and staff advance records for audit purposes.
