Senior Accountant

As the Financial Accountant for our jewellery business, your primary responsibility will be to maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for daily transactions. You will be tasked with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes. In addition, you will oversee inventory accounting, assist in cost analysis, and contribute to pricing strategies for our gold and diamond jewellery products. It will be crucial for you to ensure compliance with regulations, handle tax-related matters such as GST and TDS, and collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation. Your role will also involve analyzing financial performance to provide actionable insights to management, contributing to strategic planning. Furthermore, you will be responsible for handling and documenting high-value jewellery transactions with proper KYC procedures. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Previous experience in accounting, particularly in the jewellery industry, will be advantageous. Proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is essential, along with a solid understanding of the unique financial aspects of the jewellery industry. Strong analytical abilities, accuracy, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of accounting principles are key technical skills required for this position. Additionally, excellent organizational skills and the ability to provide valuable financial insights to management will be beneficial. This is a full-time position that requires you to work in person.
