Senior Accountant (with IT Filing Experience)

Andaman Bliss, a leading travel company based in Port Blair, is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong experience in Income Tax (IT) filing and overall financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting financial planning and reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain daily financial transactions, accounts, and ledgers
• File Income Tax Returns (ITR) accurately and on time
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns
• Create financial reports including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports
• Handle vendor payments, client invoicing, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Assist with audits and work closely with external auditors and CA firms
• Maintain documentation for all tax and financial records
• Provide financial insights to management for planning and decision-making

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, especially in IT filing
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, or other accounting software
• Solid knowledge of Indian taxation (Income Tax, GST, TDS)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
