Job Description

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location:

Job Summary:

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances
Maintain project-wise cost tracking and budget control
Oversee vendor payments, billing, and reconciliations
Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants
Manage payroll and employee reimbursement processing
Maintain records for purchases, subcontractors, and materials
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all accounting tasks
Assist management with financial planning and forecasting

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (M.Com/CA Inter is a plus)
5 to 10 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation laws
Prior experience in construction or project-based accounting preferred
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage a small team if required
