Engage in ongoing skill development to ensure your solutions remain aligned with the latest technology trends and SAP best practices.

RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms( Smartforms & SAP script) and Workflows).

BAPIs, user exits, BADIs, and RFCs.

ABAP on HANA artifacts ( CDS , AMDP.

Perform technical reviews of code developed by other developers

Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices in ABAP development.

Working independently and collaborating (as necessary) with cross functional teams and product owners.

Adhere to programming/development deadlines as determined.

Collaborate with SAP functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Collaborate with functional consultants to understand the impact of changes and system functionality..

Document custom developments, enhancements, and any changes made to the SAP environment.

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure successful implementation of changes.

Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for SAP ABAP programs and related workflows.

Keeps track of application changes with version control

Perform performance tuning on existing ABAP code to enhance the systems efficiency.

Conduct unit testing of developed programs and scripts, ensuring functionality aligns with business needs.

Perform System Integration Testing in QA & resolve issues coming out of testing

Participate in onboarding activities of new projects and enhancements

Proactively recommend enhancements to improve the functioning of the application.

Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy

Deploying applications on test and production environment

Able to assess business impact and escalate issues in a timely manner

Devise or modify code to solve complex problems considering system capacity and limitations, operating time and desired results

Provide timely and clear communication updates to customers and leaders

Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and ABAP enhancements.

Propose and implement process improvements and optimizations for existing SAP systems.

Required Skills and Experience

5 to 7 years of hands-on experience on SAP ABAP.

ABAP Objects,ABAP ON HANA CDS/AMDP, RAP , ODATA,FM/RFC/BAPIs, BADIs, LSMW, User-Exits, SAPSCRIPT, Smartforms, Adobe Forms,IDOCS, User Exits and Good debugging skills

SDLC

SAP modules like MM, SD, FICO, and HR

Indepth Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver and integration with other systems (e.g., SAP PO, EDI)

Experience in SAP FIORI/UI5 is a plus.

Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills

Proven critical thinking skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate in business terms, create organized and informative reports, as well as comprehensive, accurate documentation

Familiarity with ServiceNow or equivalent IT Service Management tool

Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP ABAP certification) are preferred.
