Location: Bhiwadi Industry: Electrical Switchgear & Panel Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview: We’re on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior 3D Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic engineering team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi. This role is pivotal in transforming innovative electrical switchgear designs into manufacturable products using SolidWorks . Key Responsibilities: Panel Assembly & Electrical Wiring (LV/MV Panels) · Create high-precision 3D/2D mechanical designs for LV & MV switchgear panels using SolidWorks. · Develop GA drawings , fabrication drawings , and busbar layouts tailored for sheet metal. · Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure seamless electro-mechanical integration . · Ensure all designs comply with IEC, IS , and client-specific standards. · Optimize designs for cost-effective fabrication and space-efficient layouts . · Prepare and review BOMs , enter data into SAP , and coordinate with procurement. · Participate in prototype builds , design validation , and production troubleshooting . · Maintain complete, up-to-date design documentation for production and customer approvals. Qualifications & Skills Required: · Degree in Mechanical Engineering · 5+ years of experience designing sheet metal enclosures for electrical switchgear · Expert in SolidWorks (especially for sheet metal design and assemblies) · Deep understanding of fabrication , punching , bending , and machining processes · Solid knowledge of IP protection classes , thermal behaviour , and busbar layouts Show more Show less
