We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven SEM Specialist to manage and optimize our paid search campaigns. The SEM (Search Engine Marketing) Specialist is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive the performance and effectiveness of search engine marketing campaigns. They are experts in paid search advertising and utilize their knowledge to optimize campaigns, increase conversion rates, and improve ROI (Return on Investment). The SEM Performance Specialist stays up to date with industry trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices to ensure the success of SEM campaigns. Role & responsibilities Develop and execute SEM strategies: Plan, create, and implement effective SEM strategies to drive traffic, increase conversions, and achieve business goals. Keyword research and analysis: Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify relevant and high-performing keywords for campaigns. Campaign optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize SEM campaigns to improve performance metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and cost per acquisition (CPA). Plan, create and implement different types of campaigns (Search, display, Video, shopping, smart & Pmax, App etc) Ad copy creation: Write compelling ad copy that aligns with campaign objectives, adheres to best practices, and maximizes click-through rates. Landing page optimization: Collaborate with the marketing and web development teams to optimize landing pages for better user experience and conversion rates. A/B testing: Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate different ad variations, landing page layouts, and campaign strategies, and implement data-driven optimizations. Performance analysis and reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, generate regular reports, and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Stay up to date with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest SEM trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to ensure the use of cutting-edge strategies and techniques. Budget management: Monitor and manage SEM budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve desired results. Collaboration and communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, development, and data analytics, to align SEM strategies with broader marketing initiatives. Preferred candidate profile 4+ years of agency experience in managing multiple industries. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Google Ads certification is a must. Proven experience in managing and optimizing SEM campaigns across various search engines (e.g., Google Ads). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in using SEM tools and platforms, such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, and bid management software. Excellent understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research techniques, and bid management strategies. Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) methodologies. State domain &/or an agency &/or experience in content writing will be preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast- paced environment. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
