Security Staff

A security staff (security guard/officer) is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment on the assigned premises.

Main purpose of the role

• Prevent theft, damage, and unauthorized access to the site.indeed+1​
• Ensure safety of employees, visitors, and contractors by monitoring activities and responding to incidents.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Patrol and inspect buildings, gates, parking areas, and perimeter at regular intervals.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other security systems and respond promptly to alerts or suspicious activity.
• Control access: check ID cards, register visitors, issue passes, and regulate entry/exit of people and vehicles.
• Prevent and handle incidents such as trespassing, disorderly conduct, theft attempts, vandalism, and safety violations as per company policy and law.
• Secure all doors, windows, and access points at the end of shift or as per procedure.
• Report and record all incidents, irregularities, and daily activities in logs or incident reports
• Assist in emergencies (fire, medical, evacuation) by raising alarms, guiding people to safety, and coordinating with police, fire, and ambulance services
• Maintain visitors ledger

Skills and qualifications

• Preferences will be given to retired personnel from Military services preferreed.
• Basic education (often 10th/12th pass or high school), with formal security training or license as required by local law.
• Knowledge of security procedures, access control, and use of security equipment (CCTV, alarms, metal detector, etc.)
• Good observation, quick decision‑making, and ability to stay calm under pressure​
• Clear communication skills and professionalism when dealing with staff, visitors, and authorities.surveillance systems.

NOTE: Preference will be given to people retired from military services

Experience in security services in a manufacturing unit preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
