Job Description

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Identifying and prospecting new business opportunities in the security software or computer hardware market.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conducting product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close sales effectively.
  • Collaborating with the marketing and technical teams to develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Managing the sales pipeline, tracking leads, and maintaining accurate sales records in CRM systems.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitors to enhance sales strategies.
  • Providing after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

The Experience You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in sales, preferably in security software, computer hardware, or IT solutions.
  • Strong understanding of security software solutions (firewalls, antivirus, network security) or computer hardware products (servers, PCs, networking equipment).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach to sales.
  • Willingness to travel within Chennai and potentially to other regions for client meetings.
