Job Purpose
To ensure robust security management, law & order control, and seamless implementation of security protocols at the Depot, in alignment with Nayara Energy's standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Security & Surveillance Management
- Oversee depot-wide security operations including patrolling, surveillance, and incident response.
- Prevent boundary intrusions, encroachments, and unauthorized access.
- Manage congestion and mitigate risks of conflict or unrest within and around the depot.
Law & Order / Emergency Response
- Ensure swift and compliant response to law-and-order issues, disasters, and emergencies.
- Implement and maintain SOPs for incident management and emergency drills.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to ISO 28001, ISPS Code, ERIMS philosophy, and internal security protocols.
- Maintain and update SOPs, threat analyses, risk mitigation plans, and master security manuals.
- Conduct audits and resolve non-compliances.
Materials & Movement Management
- Monitor and control movement of materials, scrap, and personnel through depot gates.
- Prevent theft, pilferage, and fraud related to materials.
- Develop and revise procedures for secure materials movement.
Support for Business Decisions / Proposals
- Under the direction of Head Security Risk & TPDD.
- Review OPEX and CAPEX proposals.
- Develop mechanisms to mitigate fraud risks and ensure compliance with established frameworks.
Access & Traffic Control
- Manage infrastructure, systems, and procedures for traffic and access control.
- Regulate movement of employees, visitors, dignitaries, delegations, and contractors.
Integrated Security Management System (ISMS)
- Lead implementation and integration of physical, electronic, and procedural security systems.
- Ensure coordination across all security subsystems.
Security Agency & Infrastructure Oversight
- Supervise security agency operations and personnel training.
- Drive infrastructure development and maintenance related to security.
Liaison & Legal Compliance
- Liaise with police, local administration, and government authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory security requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and returns as per organizational and regulatory standards.
- Standardize procedures in alignment with corporate policies.
Safety & Audit Management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct investigations as necessary.
- Lead safety audits and resolve related observations.
ISMS Implementation & Risk Mitigation
- Align depot-level practices with global ISMS standards to protect sensitive data and operational integrity.
- Develop and maintain dynamic risk mitigation plans integrated with physical and cyber security protocols.
Qualifications
Knowledge
Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Security Management / Industrial Security / Criminology or equivalent having Defence/CAPF/NCC background.
- Strong knowledge of ISPS, ISO 28001, ERIMS, and integrated security systems.
Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:
- Total Experience: 10-15 years
