Job Description

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or disturbance
Ensure the security of property, staff, and visitors at all times
Control access to the premises and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or suspicious activities
Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
Provide excellent customer service while enforcing security protocols
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred (but not always required)
Valid security guard license/certification [insert if required in your state/country]
Strong observation and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Good written and verbal communication skills
Physically fit to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
