: 🔧 Position: Welder / Fitter🧾 Role Overview The Welder/Fitter is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, ensuring precise fitment, conducting quality inspections, and adhering to safety standards throughout the fabrication process 📌 Key Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics to determine material and welding requirements Lay out, align, clamp, and tack-fit components correctly before final welding operations Handle various welding processes—MIG, TIG, Shielded Arc (Stick)—as per job Cut, grind, bevel, and shape metal parts using torches, grinders, and fitting tools before assembly Inspect welds for quality and compliance—visually and using measurement tools; report defects and corrective actions Maintain work area, tools, and welding equipment—ensure tidiness and tool return at end of shift Clean and prepare surfaces for welding as required; ensure structural integrity of welds Support team members and coordinate with engineers, fitters, and supervisors to meet project goals steel welding works ac sweets counter and fridge manufacturing
