Job Title: Security Guard

Department:

Job Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and property within the premises. This role requires vigilance, adherence to safety protocols, and proactive communication to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety & Security Enforcement:

Compliance with hotel security protocols and procedures
Effective response to security emergencies and disturbances
Regular patrols completed as per schedule

Emergency Response & Crisis Management

Responding efficiently to hotel emergencies, including fire and medical situations
CPR and first aid response readiness
Handling of law enforcement and suspicious person situations
Execution of evacuation procedures when required

Guest and Employee Interaction

Professional conduct and guest assistance
Escorting guests and employees as needed
Ensuring secure operations during special events
Reporting employee policy violations to department managers

Operational Duties & Reporting

Ensuring security at loading dock and monitoring package receipts
Daily filing of security reports and logs
Reporting maintenance and housekeeping issues promptly

Cleanliness & Compliance

Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Adhering to lost and found procedures
Availability and flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge of hotel facilities and service
