Security Engineer

Description We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, with a focus on protecting network systems and data. You will be responsible for designing and implementing security measures, conducting assessments, and responding to incidents to safeguard our organization's information assets. Responsibilities Design and implement secure network solutions to protect against advanced cyber threats. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses. Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts in a timely manner. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures. Collaborate with other teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all IT processes. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions. Skills and Qualifications 7-12 years of experience in information security or related fields. Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security architecture. Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection software. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ for scripting security solutions. Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or GDPR. Experience with cloud security and securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly desirable.
