Job Title: Security Coordinator Automotive Cybersecurity

creating security artefacts, coordinating implementation, and testing activities, managing defects, supporting audits, and recommending security releases

Mandatory / Primary Skills

• ISO 21434

  : Hands-on experience in

  Function Risk Assessments (FRA)

  , implementation gap analysis, and risk evaluations (mandatory MSG ISO 21434 training completion required).

• Requirement Management

  : Strong knowledge of requirement writing standards (e.g., SOFIST template) and experience with tools such as

  DOORS

  or

  CodeBeamer

  .

• Testing Knowledge

  : Solid foundation in testing methodologies, techniques, and test specification writing (preferably ISTQB Foundation Certified).

• Security Technologies (VW Group focus)

  : Working knowledge of QLAHs and security specifications like

  Secure Diagnostics, TLS, IP Security, Secure Onboard Communication, SOA, Secure ECU HW Platform, Vehicle Key Management, HSM

  , etc.

• Defect & Error Management

  : Experience with KPM coordination, error discussions, ticketing systems, and pre-analysis of logs/PCAP traces.

• ASPICE Knowledge

  : Familiarity with ASPICE standards for audit readiness and reporting.

Secondary Skills

• Experience with

  Penetration Testing concepts

  (CVEs, SBOMs, pen test reporting) – preferably ISTQB Pen Test Foundation Certified.
• Familiarity with

  Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  concepts: PI Planning, Epics, Enablers, estimation, and user story management.
• Knowledge of

  security release processes

  , including structured documentation and release recommendation preparation.
• Pre-analysis of technical logs and traces for early issue detection.
