Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Vulnerability Management team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Qualys VMDR, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management across enterprise environments. This role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and tracking vulnerabilities, driving remediation efforts, and improving overall security posture. Roles & Responsibilities:?¢Lead vulnerability scanning and assessment activities using Qualys VMDR, Policy Compliance, and Asset Management modules.?¢Analyze scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk, and coordinate remediation with IT and application teams.?¢Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track vulnerability trends, remediation progress, and compliance metrics.?¢Perform root cause analysis for recurring vulnerabilities and recommend long-term fixes.?¢Collaborate with SOC, GRC, and infrastructure teams to align vulnerability management with broader security initiatives.?¢Ensure timely patching and configuration compliance across servers, endpoints, and cloud assets.?¢Maintain asset tagging, scan schedules, and policy configurations in Qualys.?¢Support audit and compliance requirements by providing evidence and documentation.?¢Continuously improve scanning coverage, asset accuracy, and false positive tuning.?¢Stay updated on emerging threats, CVEs, and vulnerability intelligence. Skills:
?¢Bachelor??s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.?¢5+ years of experience in vulnerability management, with at least 3 years hands-on with Qualys.?¢Strong understanding of CVSS scoring, remediation workflows, and patch management.?¢Experience with Windows, Linux, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and container security.?¢Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and SIEM tools (QRadar, Splunk).?¢Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Additional Information:The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Qualys Vulnerability Management.This position is based at our Bengaluru office.A 15 years full time education is required.
