Security Analyst

Profile: Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) of web

applications and network infrastructure.

Utilize various tools and techniques to identify vulnerabilities, including

automated as well as manual testing.

Collaborate with audit team to aid verification of technical controls and

evidence.

Create detailed reports with remediation recommendations.

Collaborate with client teams to ensure findings are properly addressed and

remediated.

Communicate the business risk to senior management in an easy-to-understand

language.

Stay informed about new threats, vulnerabilities, and security controls to

protect against them.

Skills Required:

Well familiar with common network and application layer protocols, and best

security practices.

Good understanding of applications, networks, and their security.

Hands-on experience in their vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

(VAPT).

Familiarity with ISO 27001 and CERT-In/RBI/IRDAI/SEBI recommended

technical controls.

Ability to write to Python, Shell, PowerShell scripts for automation.

Hands-on experience of tools: Kali Linux, Nmap, Metasploit, Nessus, Burp

Suite, and other standard VAPT tools.

Excellent analytical and communications skills.

Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in Computer Science or specialisation in Cyber

Security.

2-3 years of experience.

Security+, eJPT, CEH Practical, CCNA/Network+(Good to have) or other

relevant and valid certifications.
