Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and attentive Security Analyst Intern to assist in monitoring and managing our company’s CCTV camera recordings and surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of surveillance equipment, help maintain security records, and report any suspicious activity in a timely manner. This internship provides hands-on experience in the security operations field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment across the facility to ensure continuous recording and proper functioning.
• Review recorded footage when needed to investigate security incidents or assist in investigations.
• Report any suspicious behavior, unusual incidents, or system malfunctions to the Security Manager immediately.
• Assist in maintaining proper records of surveillance footage and logs.
• Ensure camera systems are operating properly by performing routine checks and reporting technical issues.
• Support the security team in day-to-day tasks related to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding data privacy and video storage.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of surveillance systems (CCTV, IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused for long periods.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Basic computer skills (Windows OS, MS Office).
