Securities & Derivatives Rep

The Securities & Derivatives Rep 5 position involves processing orders and transactions from trading desks and branch offices, in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The primary responsibility is to assist in the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. As a Securities & Derivatives Rep 5, you will be expected to identify and implement process improvements for the settlement process using data analysis tools and methodologies. You will complete operational tasks related to administering procedures, conducting analyses, and preparing reports. Additionally, analyzing data to make recommendations for new products, services, or platform upgrades will be part of your role. Your role will also involve minimizing risk by monitoring errors, suggesting solutions to reduce errors, and ensuring compliance with audit and control policies. You will be required to identify policy gaps and propose efforts to streamline settlement processes. Monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data to ensure accuracy and quality will be essential. It is important for you to maintain a deep understanding of how the team collaborates with other areas to accomplish tasks. You should assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, with a focus on safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets by driving compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.
