As a Securities & Derivatives Rep 5 at Citigroup, your role involves processing orders and transactions from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. Your main objective will be to assist in the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support Client Account Services activities for backend Operations, including account onboarding and maintenance - Work with client account data, leading a team performing functions across account data creation and management - Execute work and meet commitments with a sense of urgency and strong attention to details - Drive for results with strong personal accountability and be responsive and accessible to clients - Exhibit a strong understanding of a client's business, actively seeking input to anticipate client needs and effectively meeting or exceeding them - Collaborate effectively with colleagues **Additional Details:** You will be required to identify and implement process improvements in the securities and derivatives settlement process using data analysis tools and methodologies. This includes completing operational tasks focused on administering defined procedures, analyses, and report preparation. You will also analyze data to make recommendations for the launch of new products and services or upgraded platforms. Minimizing risk to the bank by monitoring errors, suggesting solutions that reduce errors, and ensuring adherence to audit and control policies will be crucial. Identifying policy gaps and proposing efforts to streamline the securities and derivatives settlement processes, monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data to ensure accuracy and quality of completed settlement tasks, and maintaining an in-depth understanding of how the team collaborates with other areas in accomplishing assigned tasks are also part of your responsibilities. **Qualifications:** - 2-4 years of relevant experience - Fundamental knowledge of securities/derivatives activities, policies, procedures, and concepts - Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills **Education:** - Bachelor's Degree This job description provides a high-level overview of the types of work performed.
