Job Description

Lead and oversee financial operations related to construction and infrastructure projects, especially in the railway and metro sectors
Monitor and control budgeting, forecasting, cost estimation, and financial planning for project execution
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, government regulations, and internal financial policies
Oversee preparation and analysis of financial statements, project reports, and audits
Manage allocation and utilization of project funds, including reconciliation of expenditures
Coordinate with project, engineering, and procurement teams to align financial planning with execution timelines
Liaise with government bodies, PSUs, and SPVs for financial reporting, fund releases, and contract-related financial management
Supervise vendor payments, taxation, statutory compliance, and cash flow management
Provide financial insights for strategic decision-making, cost optimization, and project sustainability
Maintain documentation for financial audits and support internal/external audit teams
