Section Manager ( West ) - Application Engineering

Job Purpose:

Execution of New product Qualification / Application development Plans, Tracking / Handling customer line / field issues, coordinating with Plant / Engineering / Customer for resolution Product Application Training to customers & Heat Load Calculation support

Role & responsibilities

New Product Qualification

• Discuss & Lay out Annual Plan for NBO for , heating, Integrated Solutions
• Load Calculation & Compressor/ Accessory selection
• Review , monitor & support for execution of plan
• Regular Interaction with Sales , Plant & Customer team for smooth execution
• Field Installation / Commissioning Support
• Plan & Build Value Story For New Products

New Product Qualification

• Discuss & Lay out Annual Plan for NBO for Channel , Flow Control & Electronics
• Load Calculation & Compressor/ Accessory selection
• Review , monitor & support for execution of plan
• Regular Interaction with Sales , Plant & Customer team for smooth execution
• Plan & Build Value Story For New Products

Customer Support Activities

• Handling Customer Issues, Updation of customer issues in oracle service portal
• Identification Of Potential Customer Issues Share Update with management , Decide Escalation
• Coordination between AE team members / Plant / Quality & Customer to share inputs / Resolve Line / Field Issues
• Discussion / visit to customer to understand the issue

Subject Matter Expert to Oil Free Centrifugal Compressor Electronics ( All India )

• Develop System competency to support OFC programs
• Involvement in OFC projects & support customer testing along with the team
• Participate & product promotion in local ISHRAE/ Cold Chain / other industry forums
• Support Sales / Mktg / Customer product promotional programs

Preferred candidate profile

Education and Professional Qualifications:

B.E. Mechanical / Electrical , M Tech Thermal Would Be Preferred. With Exposure To HVAC electronics . Working 5-8 Years In an HVAC appliance / component Indistry

Requirements and Attributes:

- Should Be From Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Industry

- Should Have hands On experience In HVAC System Testing Or Service

- Person With System Engineering , Testing , Service & Technical Support Activity background

- Good Communication Skills Sets Written / Oral

- Leader Ship Skill sets – Mentoring , team Working
