Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about English language and literature, experienced in teaching students from grades 6 to 12, and committed to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that supports student success. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the curriculum. Teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature. Design and assess assignments, quizzes, exams, and projects. Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and promote respect for diverse ideas and perspectives. Use a variety of teaching methods and technology to enhance learning outcomes. Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. Communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs. Prepare students for internal assessments, standardized tests, and board exams, as applicable. Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and attendance. Uphold school policies and contribute to the wider school community. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in English, Education, or a related field (Masters preferred). B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification. Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the secondary level. Familiarity with [CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/IB/State Board – customize as needed] curriculum. Proficiency in educational technology tools and platforms. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Passion for teaching and mentoring adolescents.
