The Securities & Derivatives Manager position at our organization is an intermediate management role where you will be responsible for leading and supervising a medium-sized team. Your main objective will be to enhance operational efficiency, analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and mitigate financial risk by ensuring strict compliance with internal audit and control procedures. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of securities and derivatives settlements. Your key responsibilities will include executing securities transaction processing related to Securities Clearance Settlement and Derivative Operations, formulating procedures to increase team productivity, serving as an analytical and procedural expert, escalating control gaps to senior management when necessary, identifying and mitigating control deficiencies during the settlement cycle, analyzing data to resolve issues, and acting as an advisor to new/junior staff. You will also be required to assess risk when making business decisions to safeguard the firm's reputation and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
