Job Description

As an experienced SEO Specialist within the B2C travel domain, your role will involve developing, implementing, and managing SEO strategies to enhance website traffic and achieve optimal ROI. You will conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap assessments tailored to the travel industry landscape. Your responsibilities will also include optimizing website content, landing pages, blogs, and product pages to enhance search engine visibility and user engagement. Furthermore, you will be tasked with performing technical SEO audits, collaborating with developers to implement necessary fixes, and monitoring website performance through analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs. Staying abreast of the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and industry best practices will be crucial to your success in this role. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including content, marketing, and design is essential to execute on-page and off-page SEO initiatives effectively. By analyzing competitors" websites and strategies, you will identify areas for improvement and capitalize on opportunities to enhance our SEO performance. Regular tracking, reporting, and presentation of SEO insights to management will be part of your routine tasks. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated SEO experience within the travel industry, particularly in the B2C sector. Proficiency in SEO best practices, on-page/off-page optimization, and technical SEO is required. Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog is essential. Experience in optimizing websites for international SEO and multilingual content would be advantageous. A solid understanding of travel industry consumer behavior and seasonal demand trends is beneficial. Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary to effectively work with internal teams and stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred. Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics are desirable qualifications. Previous exposure to a fast-paced travel startup or established DMC/OTA would also be a plus in this role.,
