Development of new vendors for better pricing and delivery.
Co-coordinating with transporter for on time delivery of material.
Resolving operational issues related to day today procurement functions
Ensures that standards for purchasing are prepared and followed.
Prepare MIS for tracking & reporting
Ensure compliance to Statutory and legal requirements.
Taking timely action on indents by obtaining quotes in time. Ensuring all the offers are technically evaluated and vendors are at par.
Identifying the prospective vendors for the typical items required and coordinating with Projects Quality to update the approved vendor list.
Ordering and proposals based upon the factors like Price, On time delivery and Equipment loading on individual vendor.
Close coordination with supplier to review the current status of ongoing jobs. Vendor visits for checking the status of on-going jobs.
Procurement at competitive prices
Allocation among different suppliers.
Negotiates prices and contracts keeping in mind the market scenario, company budget.
Procurement of R&M items for Electrical, Instrumentation & some project consumable items at Dahej plant within stipulated time and budget.
