About VTEST

VTEST works with clients across the globe and employs Manual and Automation Testers to implement best testing practices for all types of testing. Our testers work Remote or from VTEST and client offices across India and international locations.

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing engineering team and help ensure high-quality delivery across microservices and platform interfaces.

You'll Thrive If You Have:

2–5 years of QA experience with a primary focus on automation for web/SaaS applications.
Strong knowledge of automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.) and scripting fundamentals.
⁠Experience with API automation, backend testing, and working with distributed/microservice systems.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, CI/CD pipelines, and automation best practices.
Proficiency in SQL for backend validations.
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a user-focused mindset.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
⁠Clear written and verbal communication skills

What You'll Do:

Architect, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and microservice-based applications (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
Hands-on coding experience with JavaScript and Java.
Develop scalable automation suites covering functional, regression, integration, and ⁠performance scenarios.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality gates and catch issues early.
Automate API test flows using Postman/Newman, Swagger-based tools, or custom ⁠scripting.
Use SQL and backend validation techniques to automate data consistency and workflow checks.
Drive automation-first quality practices while using manual testing only for exploratory or complex edge cases.
⁠Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to ensure full coverage of user flows and backend services.
⁠Identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and guide engineering teams toward ⁠resolution.
Improve QA processes, coverage metrics, and automation maturity across the organization.
Ensure automation workflows meet SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance standards.
