Role Overview: As an SDET-Java at Wipro Limited, you will be responsible for software test automation utilizing Java/J2EE. Your role will involve leveraging your deep hands-on coding skills with Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript to develop frameworks and automate API testing. You will play a crucial part in enabling in-sprint automation and continuous test automation using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Additionally, you will be involved in Automation Life Cycle activities, including feasibility studies and estimations. Key Responsibilities: - Possess 8 to 10 years of experience in software test automation utilizing Java/J2EE - Demonstrate a strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and various programming techniques - Have minimum 3 years of automation experience and overall experience exceeding 5 years - Showcase proven hands-on coding skills with Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript - Experience in API automation using RestAssured or Selenium (NOT Postman or SOAPUI) - Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices utilizing Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG - Enable in-sprint automation and continuous test automation using Jenkins or Azure DevOps - Familiarity with Automation Life Cycle activities and possess strong communication skills Qualifications Required: - Experience in software test automation utilizing Java/J2EE - Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and various programming techniques - Hands-on coding skills with Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript - Experience in API automation using RestAssured or Selenium - Familiarity with CI/CD practices utilizing Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG - Ability to enable in-sprint automation and continuous test automation - Familiarity with Automation Life Cycle activities and strong communication skills Additional Details: Wipro Limited is a leading technology services and consulting company focused on building innovative solutions for digital transformation needs.
