Role Overview: You will be working as an SDET-Java with 8 to 10 years of experience in software test automation using Java/J2EE. Your role will involve utilizing your strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and various programming techniques. You will be responsible for automation tasks, framework development, and API automation using tools like Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and RestAssured. Additionally, you will need to have hands-on experience with CI/CD practices using tools like Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG. Enabling in-sprint automation and continuous test automation using Jenkins or Azure DevOps will be part of your responsibilities. Communication skills and the ability to perform Automation Life Cycle activities will also be crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Possess 8 to 10 years of experience in software test automation using Java/J2EE - Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and various programming techniques - Minimum 3 years of automation experience with overall experience exceeding 5 years - Deep hands-on coding skills with Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript - Experience in framework development and API automation using RestAssured or Selenium - Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices using Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG - Experience in continuous test automation using Jenkins or Azure DevOps - Enable in-sprint automation and perform Automation Life Cycle activities - Nice to have knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible/Chef, Docker, MongoDB, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Nexus/JFrog, etc. - Familiarity with code quality tools such as Sonar, Jacoco, and SeaLights - Exposure to AI/ML concepts and insights on their applicability to testing - Experience with non-functional testing including performance testing, accessibility testing, and visual testing - Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices Qualifications Required: - 8 to 10 years of experience in software test automation using Java/J2EE - Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and various programming techniques - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript - Experience in API automation using RestAssured or Selenium - Experience with CI/CD practices using Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG - Communication skills and the ability to perform Automation Life Cycle activities Note: Additional details of the company were not present in the Job Description.,
