Job Description

Responsibilities.
Monitor, track, and analyze defect leakage in the software development lifecycle to identify areas for improvement.

Ensure thorough test coverage by designing, documenting, and executing test cases across various functionalities.

Use tools like Jira, Excel, and other task management platforms to meticulously document test cases and track results.

Integrate automated test scripts into regular BAU testing processes to streamline quality assurance activities.

Contribute to agile sprint planning by accurately estimating story points based on test effort and complexity.

Document features end-to-end, including the creation and maintenance of Postman collections for API testing and validation.

Regularly review and improve test cases created by peers, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

Requirements.
Proven experience in an Agile software development environment.

Minimum 6 Years of Experience in Manual Testing Role.

Proficiency in Testrail or similar, Postman, and relevant test management tools.

Experience in creating test documentation and knowledge of defect tracking metrics.

Solid knowledge of SQL and Scripting Languages is a plus.

Experience with performance or security testing is a plus.

Must have good knowledge of cross-device/platform/browser testing/Mobile testing.
