SDET Engineer

As an SDET Engineer at Nexaminds, you will be the Quality subject-matter-expert on a dedicated Scrum Team. You will own all aspects of test planning and execution, participating in scrum ceremonies and providing input on testability of requirements and acceptance criteria. Your role involves driving adoption of QA best practices and leading the Shift Left approach for quality deliverables within your aligned team. **Qualifications we are looking for:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience - +5 years of testing experience, including database, APIs, and UI applications (playwright, typescript, restsharp, c#) - Experience in testing enterprise applications - Good communication skills - Agile experience - Experience working with US-based teams - Experience with test and defect management tools (preferably Azure DevOps) - Experience with API testing - Basic SQL knowledge for writing and running basic scripts - Experience with Selenium-based Web UI automation - Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming Language, preferably C# - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English **Job duties:** - Actively participate in all scrum ceremonies - Document test cases and execute various tests such as E2E, Integration, etc. - Capture and present testing metrics - Analyze user stories and provide input on acceptance criteria - Provide accurate estimates for test efforts - Design and create test strategies and cases/scripts - Review test cases/automated test scripts of junior test engineers - Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests - Identify and document defects, troubleshoot production issues - Conduct root cause analysis and suggest improvements - Collaborate effectively within the scrum team **Automation QA (in addition to the above):** - Experience with Selenium-based Web UI automation - Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming Language, preferably C# - Additional skills listed below under Automation QA **What you can expect from us:** At Nexaminds, we offer a friendly and trusting environment where you can thrive and grow.
