SDET Engineer

A US based IT service company is hiring for its offshore team in Bangalore

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong skills in test automation and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience testing APIs and cloud-based applications and will work closely with developers in Agile teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software.

Technical skills:

• At least 5-7+ years of experience in test automation with technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber or BDD equivalent.


• Hands-on experience and ability to implement frameworks and automated performance tests, integration tests - Test Automation Framework Development required.


• API Integration Testing required.


• Performance/Load Testing Tools (Jmeter, LoadRunner, or similar) required.


• Working experience with GitHub, Jira, Jenkins


• Good to have hands-on experience with Java, Azure DevOps


• Experience in identifying test scenarios


• Good Experience in Manual Testing


• Knowledge in User Stories analysis.


• Ability to identify risks from business requirements.


• Be able to work as a team player and to synergize with other teams.

Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycles, including Agile/Scrum

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience in Information Security is an added plus.

Other Requirements:

A Bachelors or Masters degree (Engineering or computer-related degree preferred)

Should demonstrate strong client interfacing capabilities - specifically with US client team.

Should be willing to work US hours CST with DST, or 2nd shift (3 pm to 12 am IST)

Certifications are an added advantage.
