Job Description

Role & responsibilities Architect, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js (Express.js) or Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate). Design and implement RESTful APIs with a microservices architecture, ensuring efficient data exchange and scalability. Manage and optimize databases (PostgreSQL & MongoDB) to ensure data integrity, performance, and security. Develop containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them efficiently with Kubernetes. Implement security best practices for backend applications, including OAuth, JWT, and API gateway solutions. Optimize application performance through profiling, logging, and monitoring tools. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) to deliver high-quality software solutions. Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and continuously enhance system architecture. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 5 years of experience as a Backend Engineer / Software Development Engineer (SDE2). Proficiency in Node.js (Express.js) or Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate). Strong experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Experience with API security standards (OAuth, JWT, API Gateway). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
