QA Lead

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers in defining, executing, and reporting on test plans. Participate in requirement gathering, user story discussions, and design reviews to identify and address potential quality issues early in the development cycle. Develop and implement comprehensive test plans covering various types of testing (functional, performance, accessibility, etc.) aligned with project requirements and risk assessments. Automate test cases using scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) to improve efficiency and coverage. Design and develop robust test automation frameworks for API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI. Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects reported during testing. Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend improvements to testing processes and strategies. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance. Contribute to continuous improvement of the QA team's efficiency and effectiveness.
