QA Lead

As a Lead Automation Tester with expertise in Playwright, TypeScript/Javascript, and 8-12 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure product releases. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing QA strategies, automation frameworks, and testing standards. Some key responsibilities and qualifications are outlined below: **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and implement QA strategy, automation frameworks, and testing standards. - Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks for UI, API, Performance, and Security Testing. - Collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, Security, and Product teams to ensure quality at every stage of SDLC. - Establish and enforce best practices for coding, testing, and automation across teams. - Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for faster release cycles. - Evaluate and recommend testing tools, frameworks, and technologies aligned with business needs. - Drive shift-left testing, test data management, and continuous testing practices. - Lead performance testing strategy and execution for scalability and reliability. - Define KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to measure and improve product quality and team efficiency. - Troubleshoot complex test automation and quality issues. - Guide and mentor QA engineers and SDETs to enhance testing competencies. - Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory guidelines. **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of QA and Test Automation experience, including at least 2-3 years in a Lead capacity. - Expertise in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Rest Assured, etc. - Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.). - Strong experience with API Testing and tools like Postman, Swagger, and Rest Assured. - Proven track record of integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.). - Solid experience in Performance Testing using JMeter, k6, or Gatling. - Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). - Good understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Shift-Left Testing. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with deep knowledge of SDLC and STLC. - Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. **About GlobalLogic:** GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is a trusted digital engineering partner known for creating innovative digital products and experiences for leading companies worldwide.
