Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master at RedoQ, a prominent IT company in Kolkata, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile processes to ensure successful project delivery. With 5+ years of experience in a similar Agile role and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, you will lead Scrum ceremonies, support the development team, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include leading Scrum events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. You will support the team in following Scrum practices, ensure the product backlog is well-defined, monitor team progress, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on project goals. Additionally, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing best practices. To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, proficiency with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana, strong leadership and facilitation skills, excellent communication abilities, and effective problem-solving and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I), a Master's degree in a related field, industry experience, and familiarity with other Agile frameworks like Kanban and Lean.
