Its a role that perfectly blends soft skills like leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution with some technical know-how.

Key Responsibilities Scrum Management & Coaching

Enabling development teams to perform at their highest level through self-organization.
Scrum coach and an advocate for facilitating Agile development
Organize and facilitate all scrums events and ceremonies.
Promote continuous improvements with key objective to increase efficiency, productivity and velocity.
Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity & innovation.
Experience with teaching technical teams basic to advanced Agile concepts including Epic and User Story creation, Scrum, best practices and tools.
Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget
Outline and prioritize work based on program initiatives and business value.
Coach the team on how to plan work into enabling features and stories along program increments and sprints
Remove impediments by facilitating collaboration, conflict resolution & transparency.

Backlog Management

Backlog Management and refinement in collaboration with PO (or customer) and Engineering teams.

Communication

Track and communicate sprint plan, goals to internal, external stakeholders and leadership team through KPIs and metrics.

Project Management

Effectively manage end-to-end software projects including planning, execution and delivery
Ensure Risk management through identification & mitigation strategies whilst ensuring transparency with stakeholders and leadership team.

Onshore coordination

Onshore / Offshore coordination and handshake of responsibilities and deliverables.

Qualifications

Minimum 8+ years of experience as Scrum Master with software development managing medium to large / complex projects with 3+ years in senior roles.
Bachelors/Masters in CS, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience as Scrum Master with in-depth knowledge of delivering projects to the Customer.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kansan, Waterfall and other project management methodologies
Experience with Agile (& some DevOps) tools like JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab/bitbucket, etc.
Strong understanding of software / application development processes and some understanding of DevOps practices and principles
Strong leadership, problem solving & communications skills with Can Do attitude
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
