Scrum Master

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our growing team immediately. The ideal candidate will facilitate and coach Agile teams, ensuring effective adoption of Scrum principles, and drive continuous improvement throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Guide and coach teams on Agile/Scrum practices and values to deliver high-quality software.
• Remove impediments and blockers to ensure smooth sprint execution.
• Foster a collaborative, self-organizing, and high-performing team environment.
• Work closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize product backlogs.
• Track progress and communicate key metrics and status updates to stakeholders.
• Shield the team from external distractions and interruptions.
• Encourage continuous improvement through regular feedback and retrospectives.
• Ensure transparency by maintaining Scrum artifacts and information radiators.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and best practices.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts, remove impediments, and drive team performance.
• Experience using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
