Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Independently research complex real-world issues, systems, and solutions using
  

• Develop long-form video scripts (10–25 minutes) with strong narrative flow, clarity, and
  

• Translate dense research into accessible, engaging, human-centered storytelling
• Work closely with editors, producers, and visual teams to ensure scripts are visual-first
  

• Fact-check rigorously and maintain high editorial standards and credibility
• Continuously refine scripts based on feedback while protecting the core narrative vision
• Stay updated on global and Indian developments related to sustainability, social
  

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

• 2+ years of proven experience writing long-form scripts, documentaries, or
  

• Demonstrable experience in deep research and synthesis (journalism, documentary,
  

• Ability to write structured, engaging scripts that hold attention for 15–25 minutes
• Strong command over English with a clear, confident narrative voice
• Evidence of work that balances facts + storytelling (links required)
  

Good to Have

• Background in journalism, documentary filmmaking, public policy, sustainability, or social
  

• Experience writing for YouTube or digital video platforms
• Familiarity with Indian socio-economic, environmental, or cultural contexts
• Ability to think visually while writing
