Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Scratch Coding Instructor to teach students the fundamentals of block-based programming, problem-solving, and digital creativity. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about working with children and beginners, making coding fun and engaging through Scratch projects, games, and animations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Scratch coding sessions for students in classrooms, workshops, or online platforms.
Develop age-appropriate learning materials, coding exercises, and project-based assignments.
Teach students programming concepts like sequences, loops, conditionals, variables, and events through interactive projects.
Encourage creativity, storytelling, and logical thinking in student projects.
Provide individual guidance and support to help students debug and improve their work.
Assess student progress and share feedback with parents, teachers, or program coordinators.
Inspire students to develop an interest in STEM/STEAM learning.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Scratch programming.
Excellent communication and teaching skills.
Patience and ability to explain concepts in a simple and engaging way.
Creativity in designing fun projects and activities.
Prior teaching, mentoring, or coding workshop experience (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience in conducting coding classes for children aged 7–15 years.
Familiarity with other coding platforms like Code.org, Tynker, or App Inventor.
