Job Title: SCM Stores/Warehouse Manager Location: Hyderabad Experience: 8–14 Years Industry: Chemical Industry (Mandatory) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined Stores/Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory management, material storage, and warehouse operations in a chemical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient handling of raw materials, catalysts, chemicals, consumables, and project-related materials. Key Responsibilities: Manage overall store and warehouse operations including: Receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials , chemicals , catalysts , consumables , and project items Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular cycle counts and physical audits Implement FIFO/FEFO , bin management, and proper labelling of materials Ensure safe storage practices , especially for hazardous materials Coordinate closely with purchase, production, logistics, and quality teams Monitor material inward and outward movements in ERP systems Maintain documentation for inventory, safety stock levels , and statutory compliance Supervise warehouse manpower and enforce 5S and EHS standards Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization Key Requirements: 8–14 years of relevant experience in warehouse/store management in a chemical plant Strong understanding of chemical material handling , MSDS, and safety protocols Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management tools Hands-on experience with stock audits, GRNs, MRNs, and physical verification Good team management, planning, and coordination skills Knowledge of statutory norms related to chemical storage is essential
