SCM Manager/Head Education - BE - Mechanical or Any Stream Experience - 15 to 18 Years No. of working Day - 6 Days Salary Structure - Fixed + Variable (10 to 15%) Job Responsibility - Job Description And Roles & Responsibilities: Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders in line with the organization's general policy guidelines Manage material requirements planning, inventory control measures Analyze inventories, implement ways to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, and optimize process lead times Manage activities related to tactical purchasing, cost containment measures Negotiate rates and finalize prices to meet internal benchmarks Implement new or improved supply chain and outsourcing processes Continuously work towards increasing outsourcing capacity and manufacturing capabilities Monitor supplier performance to assess their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements (Supplier OTD) Collaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify or qualify new suppliers Build long-term relationships with business partners to strategize growth plans of the business Perform other duties at a lower or higher level of proficiency as required by management The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in cost-saving initiatives. They should be adept at managing teams, driving projects to completion, and ensuring the seamless operation of supply chain processes.A proactive approach and the ability to adapt to dynamic business environments are essential.
