Summary of the role Specify the overall responsibilities and the main deliverables. Why do we need the role? You will work in close partnership across the SCM organization to provide self-service reporting and analytics that provide fast and accurate data insight enabling operational and strategic business decisions. Interfacing with other areas of TSS as needed (sales, manufacturing, IT etc) You will utilize your extensive skills in analytics tools such as IBM Cognos reports and dashboards, Cognos CAfE for Excel (IBM Planning Analytics), SAP S4/Hana/Fiori. Tasks and Responsibilities Describe the tasks and responsibilities in more detail. Use bullet points. o Develop, validate, deliver, and maintain: o Operational business management KPIs o Regular / recurring / scheduled analysis reports o Analysis dashboards o Ad hoc analysis requirements and tasks o Convert written requirements into a finalized specification document and resulting delivered product (reports, KPIs, dashboards) Education and Experience Specify what level of education is needed (secondary school, technical school, university, master, PHD, etc). Define how many years relevant working experience is required and which type of experience. o Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred o 3 Years of experience as Data Analyst role o Possess a high level of data accuracy and attention to detail o Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise business communications o Ability to work independently, typically initiating own tasks with input/guidance from manager o Software knowledge: BI Cognos analytics for reports and dashboards, SAP S4/Hana Fiori, Excel (advanced) o Experience in other analytics, SQL/scripting and dashboard software tools a plus o Experience working across different countries / cultures Competencies Define specific competencies needed. (Examples: negotiation skills, programming skills, coaching, budgeting, problem solving etc). Look at the Leadership profile. o Excellent communication and English language skills (spoken and written) o Team player o Able to work independently to achieve deliverables o Advanced mathematics and analytical skills o Highly results oriented o Knowledge of programming languages and other analysis tools would be helpful Key Interfaces and Stakeholders Describe which interfaces and stakeholders the position will have in the job. (For example outside customers, R&D internally, manager, peers). o Global SCM organizationa (Germany, Americas, China, Japan India) and departments (Purcahsing, Procurement, Logisitics, Planning, Quality, Master Data Management) o Other Internal TSS teams (Sales, Manufacturing, R&D, Finance & IT) o Interface with the TSS IT BI team for backend developments needed required to support duties Geography to cover and Travel requirements Indicate if the responsibility is global/international/country/or local. Indicate if travelling or off-site workdays are required and give an estimation of days per year. o Work hours aligned with European time zone o Predominantly / initially this role will support SCM Europe with additional work assignment supporting other SCM regions as necessary o Occasional international travel (5%) for training, team building and occasional other purposes Behavioral Characteristics Describe personality traits important for success in the position.
