1. Role Summary

The Analytics & SCM Transformation Lead will drive data-driven decision-making, process optimisation, and digital transformation across the hospital supply chain and procurement function. The role is responsible for developing analytics frameworks, improving operational efficiency, strengthening cost control, and leading transformation initiatives to enhance transparency, automation, and governance across multi-hospital

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Supply Chain Analytics

• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics for procurement, inventory, logistics, and pharmacy operations.
• Analyse spend data, consumption trends, vendor performance, pricing variations, and inventory ageing to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models for demand forecasting, consumption planning, stock optimisation, and price benchmarking.
• Support category, sourcing, and contracting teams with data-driven insights.

B. SCM Transformation & Process Improvement

• Lead end-to-end transformation projects (e.g., automation, standardisation, digitisation, workflow optimisation).
• Design and implement best-practice procurement and inventory processes across all hospitals.
• Drive adoption of e-procurement, contract management systems, and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with units to standardize item codes, nomenclature, and supply chain master data.
• Introduce process controls to strengthen governance and reduce leakages.

C. Digital & ERP Integration

• Work with IT/ERP teams to enhance SCM modules (Oracle / SAP / HIS / e-procurement tools).
• Manage the implementation of analytics tools, RPA solutions, and SCM automation workflows.
• Define system requirements, test functionalities, and ensure end-user adoption.

D. Strategic Projects & Cost Optimisation

• Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives through data analytics.
• Support central contracting and strategic sourcing with insights on price trends and supplier consolidation.
• Evaluate supply chain models to reduce wastage, improve TAT, and enhance service levels.

E. Reporting & Governance

• Publish monthly SCM performance scorecards for leadership.
• Ensure data accuracy, compliance with procurement policies, and process adherence across units.
• Provide analytical support for audits, budgeting, and committee reviews (PTC, procurement committee, etc.).

3. Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Analytics / Business; MBA preferred.
• 5–12 years of experience in Supply Chain Analytics, Procurement Analytics, or SCM transformation (preferably in hospitals, pharma, FMCG, or manufacturing).
• Strong experience in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Infor, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or equivalent).
• Expertise in SQL, Excel, and statistical modelling is an advantage.

4. Skills & Competencies

Technical

• Deep understanding of hospital SCM processes (Procurement, Pharmacy, Inventory, Logistics).
• Strong analytical, statistical, and data modelling capabilities.
• Proficiency in designing dashboards and KPIs.
• Experience with digital transformation tools and process automation.

5. Key Deliverables (First 12 Months)

• Development of enterprise-wide SC analytics dashboards and KPIs.
• Lead implementation of Contract Management/Procurement automation module.
• Standardize item codes, categories, and procurement workflows across units.
• Achieve measurable improvement in TAT, cost savings, and process compliance.
• Deliver 3–5 major SCM optimisation and digital transformation projects.
