The Scheduling Manager at Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions is responsible for developing common tools and methods for Planning & Scheduling, incorporating best practices from both internal operations and industry standards. By creating reliable schedule estimates during the proposal phase and delivering accurate project schedules with critical path analysis, the Scheduling Manager plays a crucial role in project success. This role involves providing expertise to various centers within Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions, consulting with key stakeholders, and conducting cold eye reviews on proposals and ongoing projects. The Scheduling Manager is the primary owner of the Primavera software, the main Planning & Scheduling tool used in operations, and is responsible for its continuous development and improvement. Key responsibilities include developing global concepts and tools for scheduling, defining guidelines for Planning & Scheduling activities, supporting cold eye reviews, ensuring harmonization of Planning & Scheduling tools across centers, and providing training and expertise as needed. Additionally, the Scheduling Manager plays a role in implementing the process of Scheduling Risk Analysis (SRA) and integrating it with the Risk Management Department. In terms of development and competitiveness, the Scheduling Manager focuses on implementing efficient tools, methods, workflows, and procedures in Planning & Scheduling. This includes being the business owner of Primavera tools and defining IT development plans, conducting internal audits, and identifying training needs for staff members. Furthermore, the Scheduling Manager contributes to the organization's effectiveness and HR by developing direct staff members to the best of their abilities. As a key member of the team, the Scheduling Manager plays a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency, project success, and continuous improvement within Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions. Education requirements for this role include a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Chemistry) or Industrial Engineering.
