Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Review scanned images of books/documents to ensure high quality and completeness.
Identify and flag issues such as blurred pages, incorrect alignment, missing content, or file corruption.
Compare scanned documents with source material when required.
Ensure files meet technical specifications (resolution, format, size, naming).
Perform
quality checks
on image consistency, readability, cropping, and file order.
Coordinate with scanning operators and teams to correct errors and rescan when necessary.
Maintain accurate QC logs and reporting documentation.
Work closely with the digitization, editing, and content teams to ensure output meets required standards.

Required Skills

Strong attention to visual detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with scanning/imaging software and equipment.
Basic image editing knowledge (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, or similar tools).
Understanding of digital file formats (PDF, TIFF, JPEG).
Ability to follow content guidelines and document structures.
Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
