Scala Engineer

You are a highly skilled Scala Web Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Scala and expertise in developing web applications using the Play Framework and JOOQ. Your primary responsibilities include developing, enhancing, and maintaining web applications using Scala and the Play Framework. You will design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services. Utilize JOOQ for database interaction and ORM functionality. Your good knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS will be essential in this role. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define, design, and ship new features while ensuring code quality through best practices, code reviews, and unit testing. Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance will be part of your routine tasks. Effective communication with stakeholders and team members is crucial for ensuring smooth project execution.
